Engineering Technician, Autoclave

This position requires working onsite full-time at the Riverside, CA manufacturing facility

Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift Hours: 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday - Thursday.

What You Will Do

• Operate multiple Autoclaves to support composite and metal manufacturing
• Read and review technical data production specifications to write and edit recipes
• Ensure bonded structures meet cure specifications
• Generate curing reports for individual parts
• Adjust load configurations to improve cure quality
• Manage and update Autoclave tracker
• Perform job using safe work practices by complying with company policies
• Communicate any Autoclave issues to site leaders
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this
• Experience operating industrial/mechanical equipment
• Experience reading material and process specifications and/or engineering drawings.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Aerospace Industry experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Experience operating Autoclaves or High-Pressure Vessels
• Experience with technical reports, manuals and/or work instructions

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 78,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
