Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.

What You Will Do:
The Life Cycle Engineering Center is conducting search for an experienced Engineering Services Specialist for a Special Access Program located in Tucson, AZ.
As an Engineering Services Specialist you'll be developing training for nuclear systems and delivering your expertise to front line personnel.
In this role, you'll be involved with providing supportability analysis (Spares/Provisioning/LORA/PSS) and leading the drafting of Technical Order procedures in advance of weapon system fielding and prior to major acquisition milestones.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Providing sustainment support in the execution and planning of contractual requirements and program objectives
- Prioritizing assigned tasks to align with program goals and meet contractual requirements
- Contributing to successful reviews/audits and customer interchanges on a regular basis
- Accountable for meeting the team's committed schedule, cost and performance requirements
- Understanding, identifying and mitigating short term schedule/contractual risks
- Ability to work in a Special Access Program environment
Approximately 25% domestic travel required.
This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon's Tucson, AZs facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
- Relevant nuclear weapons or weapons systems maintenance experience
- Logistics experience in a military or civilian environment
- Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Prior military experience preferred (background with cruise missiles), including flight and ground test support, data analysis, and maintenance management.
- Experience with planning and acquisitions (requirements management preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of sustainment and supportability principles and concepts.
- Ability to identify potential problems and take corrective action as needed
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and experience working in teams as both a member and a leader.
- Active Top Secret Clearance preferred.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
