What You Will Do

• Test Systems Engineering (TSE) is currently seeking Mechanical, Aerospace, and Systems Engineers to support the test groups at Pratt & Whitney as part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP).
• Associates in the EDP may work in disciplines across our test engineering organization, including but not limited to: Design Engineering for Tooling, Instrumentation and Test Equipment (TSE), Product Safety, Assembly, Test Engineering, or Test Operations

What You Will Learn

• Candidates hired will begin their first 2 years at Pratt & Whitney as part of the Engineering Development Program (EDP) under the Development Operations (DO) or Product Safety, Certification, Validation & Engineering Quality (PSCV&EQ) Organization. This consists of three rotations of approximately 8-months in duration in three different departments across either or both of our two organizations (DO/PSCV&EQ).
• Upon their 2-year graduation, they will return to their hiring department (1st rotation) for at least 1 year. The intent of our EDP is to offer breadth & depth in various technical experiences through challenging positions available in our organizations. This program will help expand your professional and technical competencies that will serve as the foundation for exceptional contributions that you will make at Pratt & Whitney.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

• Internship experience with Pratt & Whitney, RTX, or within the aerospace industry
• Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
• Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
