As an EMC Engineer Intern with us, you will help with EMC/EMI analysis, testing, and troubleshooting efforts. Working closely with the team and design teams, you will assist to help integrate EMC/EMI considerations seamlessly, driving innovations to achieve peak performance.

What You Will Do:
- You will support Power Supply group when running Power Quality testing.
- You will help to build any supporting equipment required for EMI testing.
- You will help to set up Systems for EMI Qualification testing.
- You will do lab testing on systems or components.
- You will create test procedure draft documents based on previous testing and you will be mentored and instructed on how to create a working draft document.
What You Will Learn:
- You will learn EMI test standards we are required to follow based on customer requirements.
- You will learn MIL-STD-461, Mil-STD-464 Military Standards.
- You will learn DO-160 Commercial Standards.
- You will gain valuable experience in a very complex "Niche" Engineer discipline.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Studying towards bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Familiar with simulation tools for EMC/EMI analysis is desired.
Mathematics minor and/or Field and Wave theory courses taken.
Desire to learn and be monitored by senior EMI Staff and group engineers.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
