This position is for an Electrical Engineering Internship on the Engine Control Systems Electrical Design Team. This summer internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry. You will work alongside early career, mid career, and senior engineers on the design, analysis, and testing of Electronic Engine Controls. Our Electronic Engine Controls can be found on commercial and military aircraft engines around the world!

- Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of electronic engine controls for aircraft engines.
- Conduct analysis and simulations of electrical circuits within electronic engine controls.
- Perform hands on design verification testing and qualification testing of electronic engine controls.
- Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production and field issues.
- Collaborate with other technical disciplines to solve challenging multi-disciplinary problems.
What You Will Learn:
- Electronic Hardware Development process of electronic engine controls, from initial conceptual design through verification and integration testing.
- Develop skills in identifying and resolving issues in fielded electronic engine controls.
- Understand how electronic engine controls integrate with other hardware and software on aircraft engines and airframes.
- Gain insights into project planning, team collaboration, and effective communication within an engineering team.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with analog and/or digital circuit design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Must be a commutable distance to Windsor Locks, CT to work an onsite schedule. This position may be eligible for relocation.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
