Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Engineer to fill an onsite position in Largo, Florida. The primary role of the Test Engineer (TE) is to support all aspects of technical performance across multiple depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC), reporting to the Largo Test Engineering Manager. The Test Engineer will work on a range of products and programs and will be responsible for overseeing the Factory Acceptance Testing, managing Test Equipment and Test Assets, and troubleshooting and investigating hardware and software related failures.

What You Will Do
- Circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification.
- Integration and test of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules.
- Transition and integration of Special Test Equipment (STE) from Engineering Development to Full Rate Production.
- Work as part of a team to analyze hardware and software specifications to determine product technical and testing requirements.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve test station issues and overcome product defects to determine best engineering solution.
- Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
- Occasional travel
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal sources, etc.)
- Experience working with RF communication systems and military electronic communications, MS Office tool suite, and test station SW applications such as Test Stand
- Proven technical aptitude based on lab experience for troubleshooting military electronic system failures including RF antennas, amplifiers, and receivers.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Extensive lab or production environment testing and troubleshooting experience across military electronics systems and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems.
- Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering fields and general knowledge of other related disciplines
- Ability to demonstrate delivery quality and timely results, leadership experience through school or extracurricular projects
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to multi-task,
- Team-oriented individual able to perform multidiscipline activities

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
