The Digital Technology Program Management Office is currently searching for a seasoned professional in Project Management who works independently, supporting the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets for digital technology projects. Responsibilities include facilitating project tasks with various functional organizations, project forecasting, tracking progress, identifying and recommending resolutions, and escalating project problems.
The ideal candidate will effectively lead the planning and implementation of digital technology projects to enable the organization to succeed and meet strategic deliverables.

This position focuses on managing multiple digital technology projects, specifically supporting our S4 HANA journey, which may include implementation of third-party solutions, application development and infrastructure optimization solutions.
This individual can work onsite at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote from home with ability to travel 25%.
What YOU will do:
- Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team to ensure an understanding of the project plan and scope, in conjunction with the company's commitments and customer expectations.
- Define deliverables, scope of work, and develop detailed project schedules to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor and business objectives and goals are met.
- Build highly effective project teams and establish effective relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.
- Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members.
- Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.
- Apply project management principles including project financial management, scope and schedule management, risk and opportunity management, critical problem solving, variance and root cause analysis techniques to ensure on time delivery of product capabilities that meet customer requirements.
- Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Collins Aerospace.
- Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.
- Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.
- Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.
- Ability to provide direction, leadership, and influence where you do not have direct authority through strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications you must have:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time
- 3+ years' experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.
- 3+ years' experience leading digital technology projects
- 3+ years' experience leading data migration/conversions & data cleansing activities
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience working in a government and/or manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing projects in the following areas:
- S4 HANA
- Application implementation
- Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum methodology
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
This position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
