What You Will Do:
This position reports to the Associate Director, Strategic Investments, Digital Program Office (DPO), Digital Technology and provides in-depth subject matter expertise (SME) of Capital investments across the Raytheon Digital technology portfolio.

In this role, this individual will be responsible for the planning, compliance, and execution of capital investments for the Raytheon Digital Technology function. They will be the key stakeholder to interface with Digital Leadership, Capital Finance, Raytheon Strategy teams, other functional Capital Coordinators, and various Digital business operations teams with Raytheon Digital.
This team member will guide and validate the creation of AR workbooks, perform initial color of money and financial compliance analysis, perform eCAR reviews, and help ensure the Digital function meets it Annual Operating Plans.
Long-Range Planning is a critical deliverable this role will provide to the Raytheon Business working cross-functionally to deliver 5-year plans to help position Raytheon Digital for key investments to support our infrastructure, digital transformation, data centers, and other key strategic initiatives.
Relocation support will be available to the applicant as needed to move to one of the preferred locations as business need dictates. Occasional Business travel may be necessary to our US Domestic Locations beyond the assigned work location.
The following skills are critical for success in this role:
- Relationships - Must be able to effectively integrate and establish influence within the function and across our Functional and SBU partners to support Digital and the Business interests.
- Strategy and Execution - Ability to foster the development of Strategic and Financial Plans (S&FP), Long Range Investment Planning and execute our Annual Operating Plans for the Function's investments.
- Business Acumen - Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Financial principles including GAAP, Direct & Indirect, and Capital Investment policy.
- Technical Acumen - Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of Information Technology, Infrastructure hardware and software as it relates to financial decision making.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Experience in business/financial management and/or portfolio/project management
- Experience in Information Technology, Engineering, Operations or Programs
- Experience with Business Financial Data reporting, tools and presentation skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in Digital Technology (DT) Infrastructure and/or Computing technologies.
- Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience successfully presenting to executive leadership
- Experience using PlanView
- Proven effective communication skills, with ability to influence and drive change
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex issues, develop effective solutions, and drive to timely resolution
- Demonstrated success in leading change efforts
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering; Finance or Business advanced technical degree (MS, PhD) preferred.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
