Role Overview:
Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Management Office (PMO) Leader to join the Enterprise Cybersecurity Services team. This position will report into the Director of Transformation and Execution in Strategy and Transformation. This leader will be responsible for overseeing the Cybersecurity Project Management Office, providing leadership, strategic direction, governance, and maintaining the cybersecurity project portfolio. This role will grow and develop project management talent, maintain project management standards and processes, and most importantly ensure successful delivery of projects and value on time, within scope, and on budget. Additionally, this role will play a key partnership role with Enterprise and BU DT PMO's to ensure successful cybersecurity support on RTX initiatives.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute the Cybersecurity PMO roadmap in support of organization strategy and initiatives
- Provide guidance and leadership to the project management team, aligning the teams' objectives with organizational goals
- Partner with other PMO organizations to influence and shape common Enterprise PMO processes and tooling
- Develop Cyber project processes where applicable
- Maintain a high-quality cybersecurity project portfolio
- Facilitate and prepare content for Cyber and Enterprise project reviews ensuring accurate status, risks, and dependencies are communicated to key stakeholders
- Drive project portfolio planning and investment planning activities
- Resolve project escalations requiring leadership support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related matters and communication across the organization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cyber leaders, customers, and partners
- Develop resource allocation strategies to ensure project are properly staffed, and resources are utilized efficiently
- Manage and optimize the team workloads, capacity and team development
- Recruit Train and develop talent building a high performing PMO organization
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and professional growth within the PMO
- Ensure team compliance with documented processes, tooling, and standards to ensure consistency and accountability
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Project management, or STEM, or relevant experience with 10+ years of experience
- 7+ years experience in project management with at least 3 years in PMO leadership role
- 5+ years Agile project implementation experience
- 10+ years user experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experienced user of Planview
- SAFE certifications
- Preferably a degree in a cybersecurity or IT related discipline
- Experience working in both and Enterprise and Business Unit environment
- Strong leadership skills and experience with cross functional teams
- Experience presenting to Executive level audience
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex programs or initiatives simultaneously
- Leadership and talent management experience across multiple teams resulting in high performing teams and organizational health
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (PMP or other relevant certifications)
- Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach to decision making
- Adaptable with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement

Remote: This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
