Raytheon is seeking a Sr. Sub-Commodity Sourcing Manager to join the Machining Commodity Team. The Sr. Sourcing Manager, in conjunction with the Commodity Strategy team, will be responsible for creating and deploying actionable sourcing strategies across machining commodities to position the portfolio for successful implementation in the 1-to-4-year timeframe. The sourcing strategies should drive efficiency, affordability, and supply base resiliency to support Raytheon's business portfolio.

Role Type / Location: Raytheon is increasing our onsite presence; therefore, this position requires a candidate who is located within 50 miles of a Raytheon facility and willing to work predominately at the Raytheon location.
What You Will Do:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies through analysis of internal and external historical data, forecasts, business objectives, commodity risks, opportunities, and trends.
Draft and manage the competitive and sole source Request For Proposal (RFP) process.
Lead the Best Value Source Selection process.
Evaluate supplier proposals to determine the overall best value to Raytheon, including identifying risks, calculating potential impacts, and creating mitigation plans.
Communicate recommended strategies, sources, and approaches to program stakeholders and advocate for adoption/funding of those strategies.
Perform Price and/or Cost Analysis.
Identify candidate parts for sourcing cycles and long-term pricing agreements and lead the sourcing activities associated with executing pricing agreements.
Develop negotiation strategies and lead supplier negotiations of proposals to achieve the objectives laid out in the negotiation strategy.
Support supplier capacity and capability analyses.
Perform the above responsibilities in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements.
Travel required: anticipated every other month.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with price analysis techniques, source selection/justification.
Experience with risk identification, mitigation, and problem solving.
Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow downs).
Experience in fast paced environments.
Experience with Public Laws, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) requirements.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
