This Commodity Performance Lead will report directly to the Associate Director of the Nav/Guidance Commodity team. In this role, you will perform a critical role in the overall performance, relationship, and health of a supplier through the management of Raytheon business strategy, coordination of a cross-functional team and utilization of a supplier development engagement process. You will evaluate supplier factors, including but not limited to, capabilities, capacity, obsolescence, market and technology trends when making supplier strategies. In collaboration with Commodity Strategies, Programs, Supplier Engineering and Leadership, the Commodity Performance Lead is responsible for ensuring a robust supply base that can meet the increasing needs of RTX and our customers. The Commodity Performance Lead will develop key senior level relationships both internally and externally to influence and drive critical needs at the supplier.

What You Will Do:
- Develops and executes Raytheon Company supplier strategies for Engineered Items, enabling the business to achieve rapid growth by establishing resiliency in the supply chain.
- Coordinating POC for a Focused Supplier(s)
- Partners with the enterprise to align supplier priorities to support customer demand
- Ensure supplier understands flow down requirements
- Optimize a supplier's performance to meet customer needs
- Understand Capacity, Capability, and Health of the Focused Supplier(s)
- Drive prioritization of Raytheon portfolio & ensure strong supplier relationships
- Manage Supplier Partnership throughout product lifecycle to drive delivery assurance
- Coordinate continuous improvement engagements to ensure delivery of quality parts on time
- Develop strategies to drive supply base resiliency by reducing vulnerabilities at the n-th tier level and next higher assembly level.
- Coordinate with commodity strategies to identify technology trends and gaps between Raytheon tech. roadmaps and suppliers to align supplier investments and enable and inform product strategies and approaches.
- Characterizes and understands the wider supplier portfolio space with respect to supplier technology & capabilities, performance, and capacity.
- Insulates the supply chain from supplier risks through deployment of core strategies that enable the Company to withstand instability and reduce threats to the business
- Drives improved profitability by implementing approaches that are forward looking and anticipate changes in supply and demand and proactively position Raytheon to capture savings or mitigate cost growth.
- Responsible for cross-business collaboration with Collins and Pratt & Whitney to develop approaches that better leverage RTX combined spend to achieve financial targets and improve terms and conditions by which we execute with our suppliers.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior supply chain management, program management or other relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
- Previous leadership experience
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
- Ability to travel 40% domestically or internationally
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with inertial products, actuation systems, GPS, guidance or related technologies.
- Experience developing high impact commodity and supplier strategies
- Highly Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Strong data management skills including collection, analytics, and leveraging supplier performance and supply chain data to drive continuous improvement and ensure accurate reporting both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated cross functional team leadership skills
- Strong project/program management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization
- Candidate should be self-sufficient and require minimal oversight
- Exceptional collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at the highest levels across Raytheon and assigned suppliers.
- Proven ability to execute/implement transformative change
- Experience in procurement and a demonstrated ability to manage complex terms and conditions
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems
- Advanced Supply Chain commercial best practice experience and an ability to adapt to the Aerospace & Defense market
- Firm understanding of FAR and DFAR requirements
- Post-Graduate Degree
- 6+ years of experience developing and managing supplier base

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
