Cell Lead - McKinney, TX

The Cell Leader will report to the Value Stream Manager and be accountable for the daily management and direction of a team of Production Operators. The Cell Leader will be tasked to generate, maintain, and execute clear operational schedules, priorities, goals while collaborating with functional management to allow for continuous manufacturing of Hybrid assemblies within a process area.

This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending a significant amount of time in and around factory areas. The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

What You Will Do

• Direct supervision of 15+ production operators.
• Collaboration and communication with upstream and downstream Cell Leaders and leadership.
• Utilization of knowledge of manufacturing principles, manufacturing support team roles and responsibilities and manufacturing systems in support of initiatives, projects, improvements, and efforts.
• Personnel performance input for all related functions and career development of team members including coaching and mentoring.
• Perform a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, failure triage support and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow.
• Strategic planning development for short term execution as well as long range planning.
• Define and Execute priorities relating to safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Interact with support engineering, supply chain, and quality with respect to program schedules.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of two (2) years prior relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience working in a manufacturing, logistics and/or production role.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is preferred. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading a direct team with specific deadlines, requirements, or deliverables.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial engineering practices
• Knowledge of quality requirements relating to manufacturing industry

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
