What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate Director level meetings driving knowledge and improvement in the organization
  • Be a Leader among your peers as for the role's Quality knowledge and processes
  • Lead and/or participate in Root Cause analysis and CORE initiatives
  • Manage Quality specific metrics within work center
  • Cross Functional Collaboration across Operations and Supply Chain
  • Actively pursue methods and process to improve overall Quality of our product
  • Support and Manage Staffing and Finance Data for Operations and Supplier Quality

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience in either quality engineering or manufacturing engineering
  • Previous experience with both Excel and PowerPoint to generate analysis reporting and create presentations
  • Previous experience with Project Management, setting Program milestones and creating Project schedules and budgets
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action process
  • Experience working with OneNote
  • Knowledge of AS 9100 quality management systems or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and tools such as process optimization and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge and application of business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in supporting a cross-functional team environment
  • Hands on use of statistical process controls for process monitoring, qualification and/or design feedback
  • Ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate and team with multiple internal functions and external organizations to provide best value solutions to our customers

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
