The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Business Services Research Center or BBN team:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DEPARTMENT

The Enterprise Business Services (EBS) Organization is a Shared Service across RTX. These services include payroll, accounts payable, travel & expense, accounts receivable, procurement, accounting, and more, aimed at supporting the core operations of RTX. We currently have multiple projects to harmonize and standardize our processes. To support these initiatives, EBS is seeking a Business Analyst to join our PMO/Transformation Organization. The successful candidate will be highly organized, engaged, able to work with different functional teams, and communicate well to management on status, risks, and mitigation plans

What you will do:

Primary Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Creating business requirement documents, use cases, and process maps.
  • Designing solutions to support non-standard work that meet business needs, workflow changes, and/or process re-engineering.

  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Partner with the other EBS leads to ensure a common consistent process
  • Coordinate with SAP, operational, and business process SMEs across RTX
  • Utilize CORE framework and tools
  • Leading the testing and validation of proposed solutions and ensuring that they meet business requirements.
  • Assist in training users and providing ongoing support for new or updated systems.
  • Foster relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and business partners
  • Assist project management with scheduling, resourcing, and change management activities.
  • 20% travel expected

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • This role typically requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Accounting, a minimum of 8 or more years' relevant experience in a project execution role supporting SAP ERP or an advanced degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • 5+ years' working experience and knowledge of (Business Services) business processes and technical system knowledge
  • At least 5 years' experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects or similarly regulated, large organizations to include experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to understand business processes, identify and mitigate risk
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and other analytical tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and external third parties
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities with limited oversight and work with teams to define and implement IT Solution architecture or software
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify system issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside near an RTX hub (Cedar Rapids IA, Dallas TX, Tucson, AZ).

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
