What You Will Do:
- Set up and operate precision test equipment for alignment, troubleshooting and testing of electrical equipment and systems. Possess a working knowledge of standard test equipment, oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc., as well as a working knowledge of custom made test equipment, including automated test equipment.
- Follow written procedures and demonstrate proper use of hand tools and measuring devices.
- Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
- Troubleshooting and testing of repair units.
- Aligns and adjusts advanced electronic components on units being repaired to ensure proper functioning of electronic circuits, utilizing established calibration procedures.
- Utilizes SAP and other MRO computer programs.
- Participate on project teams.
- Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of complex products, devices, tests, or procedures under changing conditions where problem solving skills and judgments are required.
- Must be highly-motivated and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Utilize analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Successfully work as a team member supporting work completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct written and verbal communication with technicians, engineering, and leadership within the MRO.
- Responsible for a moderate level of planning.

- The candidate will gain a better understanding of US Government regulations, including FAA 14 CFR Part 145
- The candidate will be paired with a mentor to better understand the role and gain the knowledge and confidence to be successful.
- The candidate will have the opportunity to be involved with projects in different areas of the business.
To be eligible for a SkillBridge Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
- Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
- Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
- Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a HS diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.6
- Must have an electronics background or education with 2+ years complimentary work history in a manufacturing or service environment.
- Electronics maintenance industry experience or education required.
- Must have prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- AAS degree in electronics and/or prior military experience strongly preferred.
- 2+ years experience with aviation electronic equipment repair or manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience reviewing CMM/SB documentation.
- Electronic maintenance industry experience.
- Testing/Troubleshooting experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
