This individual will lead a team of experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professionals and team leaders, overseeing execution of key elements of supply chain strategy.
This individual will ideally work a hybrid role at a Collins U.S. location but remote is a possibility.
What You Will Do:
- Develops supplier standards and networks in support of organization's standards for price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply
- Establishes strategy for supplier selection and negotiations
- Manages commodity team with a focus on team goals and roadblocks, feedback on their performance, and career development
- Executes commodity / account management and strategic sourcing strategy. • Implements supply chain strategies
- Evaluates and selects vendors based on capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness
- Negotiates or awards contracts within specified spending limits, and develops new qualified sources of suppl
- Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategy
- Analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules
- Develops a strategic plan for a commodity or a strategic supplier
- Responsible for overall relationship with one or multiple strategic accounts across a given commodity.
- Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
- Ensures supplier or commodity is performing to the designed RTX requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective
- Responsible for leading project teams • Must be willing and able to travel 20% of the time
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% of the time (domestic and international)

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
- 5+ years of electronics supply chain experience
- 5+ years experience with PCBA's and PCB's
- 5+ years with tier 1 contract manufacturers
- 5+ years of leading transformational change
- 5+ years of prior experience with supplier consolidation
- 3+ years of direct supplier negotiations

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
