The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The RTX Associate Director, Payroll Technology Strategy & Transformation will provide subject matter expertise in payroll technology, focusing on the future state technology strategy and transformation for RTX. This role includes technical leadership, strategy preparation, and transformation recommendations to senior leadership. The leader will be hands-on to ensure the successful implementation of new payroll technologies, data management, automation, integration, compliance, security, and scalability.
What You Will Do:
- Provide subject matter expertise across payroll technology strategy, process, and implementation.
- Lead the technical aspects of payroll system implementations, ensuring successful and seamless integration.
- Evaluate the needs and resources for ongoing technical support and system maintenance with a focus on operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with internal global trade, legal, and cyber requirements, working internally with technical teams to ensure alignment and agreement.
- Prepare and present payroll technology strategy and transformation recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop and document technology requirements for payroll system implementation and maintenance, including integration inventories and architecture mapping.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as the escalation point for issues and concerns regarding payroll technology, tracking incident management, and ensuring completion of RCAs and After-Action Reviews.
- Partner closely with HR Payroll and People Service departments, collaborating across the organization to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors and service providers, such as payroll software providers, audit firms, and system consultants.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 10 years' experience.
- Extensive experience in payroll technology implementation and management.
- Direct experience with ADP Payroll and knowledge of ADP EV5 with a high proficiency in Payroll System Management.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and team management skills and experience with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
