Global Trade (GT) requirements exist to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to economic sanctions and the export and import of products, services and technical data.

The Mission Systems Associate Director is primarily responsible for supporting the Mission Systems and Central Global Trade teams in developing, implementing, assessing, and documenting Global Trade controls in enterprise-level information systems. This position will partner closely with Mission Systems senior leaders, value stream team members, and the business to understand the digital technology landscape and tools to ensure how the business plans to operate is complaint with Global Trade requirements.

This role will be performed REMOTE from any Collins Aerospace location either domestic or remote.

What YOU Will Do:

  • Responsible for completing Global Trade Assessments on digital technology applications used to transfer and store technical data
  • Partner with Central Global Trade Digital Technology to ensure the Mission Systems business remains compliant with all applicable requirements
  • Represent Mission Systems in Digital Technology related meetings and councils
  • Communicate and collaborate across businesses and functions, and through the program team to ensure continual alignment
  • Support or manage completion of their workstreams to ensure we remain on schedule
  • Proactively identify and address risks and develop solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Identify and respond to program problems and lead solutions
  • Strategic analysis and plan development
  • Support investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures
  • Support GT Director in the Mission Systems GT Program

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations requiredhttps://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
