Rockwell Collins Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace has an opening for an Associate Director, Materials, Planning, SIOP in Cedar Rapids, IA. This position is hybrid; may work from home up to 3 days per week as permitted. 25% national travel across the U.S. for training, defect testing, and CORE events.

What YOU will do

  • Collaborate with process owners, business users and digital technology organization within Collins' seven strategic business units to lead sustainment activities for Kinaxis Rapid Response application and ensure availability of Kinaxis response tool for continuity of business planning activities.
  • Lead and manage deployment activities of Kinaxis Rapid Response application to implement global design solution for integrated business planning at Collins 7 SBUs.
  • Work as subject matter expert for SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response and other business critical applications to develop, maintain and enhance policy, procedure and standard work to support SIOP activities.
  • Lead the council to share cross SBU best practices, process solution and success stories.
  • Collaborate with SBU leads and process owners to resolve escalations and create roadmap for solution adoption and recovery.
  • Lead the training activities across various SBUs for SIOP processes, Kinaxis Rapid Response and SAP to support continuous education and user community development.
  • Collaborate with Collins leadership team for planning and managing various initiatives for Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP and SIOP.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Supply Chain, Information Technology or Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of progressive experience as a Digital Technology, IT Manager or related role in production planning and execution (SAP). In the alternative, at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Supply Chain, Information Technology or Mechanical Engineering and at least 7 years of experience as a Digital Technology, IT Manager or related role in production planning and execution (SAP).
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with Kinaxis.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Materials, SIOP or Materials.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of Kinaxis development experience, with specific experience on demand and supply modules.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience with SAP.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.

The salary range is $143,000.00 to $287,000.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
