In this role you will be accountable to the Value Stream Leader of the Lighting business, working in a cross-functional team of Operations, Finance, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain professionals. You will lead a global team of ~40 individuals in ensuring the team meets all cost, quality and schedule deliverables, with a front row seat to watch as the latest technology in aviation comes to life.

What You Will Do:
- Effectively manage a global supply base to support cost, quality and schedule requirements.
- Ensure the creation and execution of strategies to support supply chain and business objectives.
- Develop and deploy supply chain best practices and manage key performance metrics.
- Drive improvements using customer feedback on the service provided by the team.
- Manage complex supply challenges requiring extensive investigation and analysis.
- Responsible for monitoring variances to plans and developing corrective actions.
- Proactively forecast and mitigate risks around continuity of supply and cost impacts.
- Review and assess requests for proposals, negotiate prices and authorize purchases.
- Manage complex problems requiring extensive investigation and analysis.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to an executive audience in support of supply chain initiatives.
- Lead a team of primarily experienced supply chain professionals.
- Recruit, motivate, develop and retain an appropriately skilled supply chain team.
- Set objectives and guide the team on a structured approach for achieving results.
- Utilize ability to influence others (including executive leadership) to align on strategies.
- Develop & maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, and suppliers.
- Use feedback on the service provided by the team to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Explain existing policies, best practices and procedures, ensuring the adherence of team to them.
- Lead with a continuous improvement mindset to improve processes and manage key metrics.
- Support business travel up to 25% to ensure operational execution (key operations and teams are in Arizona, New York, India and Germany, as well as a global supply base)
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in the absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant aerospace experience.
- Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement and/or CORE knowledge
- Supply Chain experience in an international, multi-cultural organization / environment

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Proven ability to understand and apply complex manufacturing processes; experience leading or supporting process improvements.
- Hands on experience and knowledge with SAP
- Aerospace Industry experience
- Demonstrated executive presence including ability to communicate with senior leadership by leading executive-level meetings and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
