Responsibilities to Anticipate:
The product owner (PO) role on team Firefly is cross discipline and is responsible for the execution of a subset of Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) scope for the AN/TPY-2 Programs. The PO is responsible for the management, coordination, and execution of the technical, cost and schedule for the team. This includes task planning to create milestones and schedules, tracking earned value and managing competing priorities. Typical activities executed by the team include site support triage, test lab support, and flight test/ground test support. The successful candidate will be expected to build the team's abilities and be able to work with both internal and external customers. They will also be expected to support proposal efforts in support of new business and have knowledge of the financial status and planning for the team.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of related experience.
- Experience executing Software, Systems, and/or Systems Integration and Test activities with agile methodologies (including SAFe and/or Scrum at Scale)
- Experience leading a technical effort
- Execution of technical, cost and schedule performance
- Active Secret Security Clearance (DoD) or ability to obtain within one year
Qualifications We Value:
- Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user requirements
- Prior experience with the AN/TPY-2 System and/or Missile Defense programs
- Experience supporting hiring activities, including interviews and staffing planning
- Knowledge of and ability to work within the Agile Scrum development practice
- Proven experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and metrics
- Existing DoD Security Clearance
- PhD/Master's Degree in Engineering, or relevant discipline (Math, Physics or Business)
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
