The Airborne Surveillance RF Department within the Space and Airborne System Integration and Test Directorate is seeking a motivated and skilled AAS Test Coordinator for the Airborne Multi-Mission Test & Lab Ops Section. This is an onsite role.

In this position, the selected candidate will initially focus on engineering activities related to software and hardware integration, testing, and troubleshooting within a system development test environment. While this is an individual contributor role, the candidate will have opportunities to take on increased responsibilities and leadership tasks over time, with the goal of growing into a leadership position within the team.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of executing technical tasks independently, while also demonstrating a willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide insights to help improve processes. This role requires strong technical execution, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with Program Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads and software engineers.
What You Will Do:
- The Airborne Multi-Mission Test & Lab Ops test operator will be responsible for executing AAS Software Integration and Test (SWIT) activities in conjunction with a test director.
- Managing and tracking test activities using Jira (or a similar project management tool) to document and monitor test progress, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in alignment with the project's objectives. This includes updating tasks, managing sprints, and providing clear communication on testing status.
- Daily responsibilities will include system operation, log file analysis, hardware removal and installation, troubleshooting, and working in a dynamic, agile environment.
- Coordinating with cross functional product teams to determine testing priority and developing specific test procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience and 5 years prior relevant work experience.
- Experience with either the hardware or software (preferably both) used on the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program.
- Prior experience working with special test equipment and inventory tools.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Software integration and test experience in support of the P8/AAS aircraft.
- Experience working with Linux to perform frequent file manipulation and log file analysis.
- Working knowledge of test equipment to include multimeters, spectrum analyzers and other common lab electrical test equipment.
- Ability to work off-shift hours to support mission requirements on an occasional, limited basis.
- Familiarity with Raytheon lab policies and procedures or equivalent.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
