Job Summary:

Raytheon's Field Engineering Team is currently seeking Field Engineers with technical, hands-on Aegis experience to support the AEGIS Program. They represent Raytheon and Raytheon interests while supporting other major contractors, U.S. Government as well as U.S. Navy. Job consists of installation, integration, testing, operating, maintaining, and the repair and modification of complex radar systems, specifically the MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS) in support of and the delivery of new construction warships to the U.S. Navy as well supporting the Aegis Fleet. Primary duties of this role are focused on providing AEGIS System Equipped Vessel (ASEV) Support at a customer facility in Moorestown, NJ.

This location is primarily based in Moorestown, NJ. Candidates must be within 50 miles, commuting distance, from the Lockheed Martin Production Test Center.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Installation and Light Off of the MK-99 Fire Control System (FCS) MK 15 Mod 2 Data Converter Cabinets (DCCs) and T-1348/SPG Radar Transmitters.in support of the AEGIS System Equipped Vessel (ASEV).

• Operations, maintenance, and any modification of the MK-99 Fire Control System (FCS) MK 15 Mod 2 Data Converter Cabinets (DCCs) and T-1348/SPG Radar Transmitters.in support of the AEGIS System Equipped Vessel (ASEV) during system development and testing.

• Technical writing and personnel training of the MK-99 Fire Control System (FCS) MK 15 Mod 2 Data Converter Cabinets (DCCs) and T-1348/SPG Radar Transmitters.in support of the AEGIS System Equipped Vessel (ASEV).

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree, OR Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR at least 7 years of relevant experience with no degree. Relevant experience includes AEGIS military experience on complex transmitter systems, specifically the MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS).

• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Formal training in Basic Electronics & Electricity (RF, Digital & Analog principles).

• Technical writing skills to maintain AEGIS documentation, provide feedback reports to Program Management & Quality Assurance, and provide solutions to a variety of complex problems.

• At least six years' experience working with the AEGIS Weapon System.

• Aegis "C" School on AEGIS FCS Transmitters & DCC MK15.

• Advanced Electronics and Computer Field School

• Experience working with ORTS (Operational Readiness Test System).

• Experience interpreting electrical & mechanical schematics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience specifically with the MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS). General knowledge of basic RF Cable construction and repair of same.

• Working knowledge of electrical multi-pin connectors and the repair of same.

• Working knowledge of electronics, RF principles and calculations, digital and analog principles and the ability to troubleshoot these areas.

• Wire wrap and soldering skills, general hand tool use and electrical tool uses.

• Prior experience working overseas on international assignments.

• Electronics Technician Certification

• Computer Operator Certification

• Should possess excellent verbal communications skills and know how to orchestrate job tasks between multiple group organizations.

• Able to communicate with peers, superiors and customers in a positive manner.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
