The F135 Advanced Materials Support Sr Manager will continuously work to improve materials supportability posture in support of the F-35's (Joint Strike Fighter) F135 Propulsion System within an extremely fast-moving global network.
What You Will Do:
- You will focus on evaluating long-term risk to the F135 Sustainment material supportability landscape and leading cross-functional efforts to highlight these areas to program leadership. Formulating possible solutions and plans with cross-functional partners will be a key element of how this role adds value to the organization.
- This position is will also be engaged in strategic initiatives relevant to MRP, Materials Planning, Inventory Planning, and Distribution Planning.
- High level analytical skills and strong MS Excel skills are required; including but not limited to XLookup, VLookup, Compound IF Statements, and other intermediate to advanced formulas.
- This role will require the right candidate to partner with other internal PW functions and functions within other RTX business units. The focus in this capacity will be to mitigate supply risks to the program before they become constraining factors to the overall Sustainment network.
- This position will require the individual to effectively lead meetings and debrief on actions, provide information cross-functionally in a dynamic environment, and brief senior leaders at times. The incumbent will also be expected to effectively provide coaching and mentoring to P/M4 and P3 level individuals.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree required; or Associate's degree, or 2-year post high school training and 15 years of MRP, Supply Chain and/or Inventory Management experience required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience managing MRP and/or inventory in an operational supply chain and distribution network.
- A minimum of CORE Apprentice certification status.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- In-depth knowledge of PW/Raytheon internal supply policies, practices, and standard work is highly desired, as is proficiency in SAP transactions.
- CORE Champion certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills are a must: individual must be able to organize, logically analyze and present spares information that may be pulled in from several info systems.
- The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate work experience that details examples of self-starting ability, initiative, and capacity to drive complex issues to closure.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
