Job Summary:
Operations Engineering Interns can expect to learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. Depending upon their assignment, they can develop manufacturing engineering skills, gain an understanding of manufacturing (cost, quality, safety and schedule), and/or provide technical support to numerous manufacturing and development programs, all while gaining hands-on experience with Raytheon systems and tools. The Andover, MA location has over 1 million square feet of manufacturing/production space where product is both assembled and tested.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
- Create and oversee improvement projects
- Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
- Analyze data to drive issues to root cause
- Assist manufacturing operators in the testing & troubleshooting of production hardware
- Participate in corrective action investigations
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Pursuing a bachelor's (or higher) engineering degree in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, industrial, aerospace or other closely related engineering field.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
- Experience/education with technical writing
- Experience/education with interpretation of technical documentation
- Experience with project execution
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

- Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
