Position Summary:

We are looking for a 6 months fixed term maternity cover. This role is based in Italy and it will be remote. Successful candidate must be based in Italy.

The Sr. Financial Analyst member of the International Destination Development team will focus on Infrastructure Investments and will define, shape, execute, and finance the company's agenda for port and destination development in EMEA and APAC regions. The Sr. Financial Analyst supports making strategic business decisions to achieve business objectives and obtain financial returns from the Infrastructure Investments. Responsibilities include a heavy focus on financial modeling, assisting with building the business case for the pipeline of investments.

The Sr. Financial Analyst will report to the AVP leading the International Team (based in Italy) and will work closely with members of the team in Europe and APAC. He/She will also report to the Finance team of Destination Development department based in Miami.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports the evaluation of port and destination development projects in EMEA and APAC regions, including vetting of projects for strategic fit and financial impact on RCL.
  • Lead financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions and provide valuation assessments.
  • Collaborates with the projects development business owners to define capital structure and investment strategy for investments
  • Supports due diligence efforts with internal subject matter experts and outside advisors
  • Take complex and detailed investment structures and communicate the key drivers and results in a concise manner and formulate meaningful recommendations.
  • Prepare internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents.
  • Coordinate with internal groups under supervision of Destination Development Finance Team (Technical Accounting Group, Corporate Strategy, Tax, Legal, Treasury) to ensure potential investments are aligned and properly structured in accordance with business objectives and strategies to minimize risks and maximize returns.
  • Manages concurrently multiple projects without compromising on the quality of the work by planning around tight timelines and effectively interfacing with business partners and other professionals.
  • Participate to conference calls with different stakeholders in different time zones, with flexibility.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
  • A Bachelors Degree is required/Masters degree desirable
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Prior infrastructure investments, investment banking, and/or consulting background preferred
  • Proven ability to develop financial models independently with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of valuation methods and debt structures
  • Results-oriented team player comfortable with interacting with all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical, research, and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent English language level, written and spoken
  • Strong project management skills
  • Driven to get tasks done promptly
  • Time management skills; ability to drive multiple investment analyses in a time-critical, transaction-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
  • Fast learner and able to link diverse sources of information to the cruise business, including ability to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion.
  • Open-minded, flexible, and willing to listen to other people's opinions.
  • Proactive, problem-solver mentality.
  • Ability to take initiative to deliver on time-sensitive business priorities independently and as a team.
  • Inquisitive self-starter with intellectual curiosity, open to different cultural environments, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for creating an excellent work product
  • Discretion and good business judgment are paramount in this role
