Position Summary:

This role supports all crew members of the RCL brands (Azamara Club Cruises, Croisieres de France, Celebrity Cruises, Pullmantur, SkySea and Royal Caribbean International). The focus of this job is to support the lead and management team with analyzing, negotiating and managing vendors who provide services for crew logistics/movement, such as hotel, transportation, visas, immigration and any other matters. Including documentation vendor set up as well as contract process. The incumbent is responsible for the day to day transactions , as well as managing all additional crew travel related requirements as directed by the Crew Logistics Manager.

  • Responsible for reporting and communicating any budget impact caused by unplanned travel, last minute request relating to hotel and or transportation.
  • Performs special operational and analysis projects as requested. From these results the Manager makes recommendations to improve overall service and efficiency of operations.
  • Responsible for locating addition resources (i.e.rooms, transportation etc) when necessary for any unplanned movement. Report to Managers any budget impact.
  • Coordinates all planned turns with shore side and shipboard management to plan all turnaround operations, including all Dry dock, wet docs, revitalization, new builds, and /or handovers, group, trainings.
  • Ensures and validates all contract information is accurate in Travel Mart
  • Manage exceptions an overflow is Travel Mart as needed.
  • Assist with training of all vendors and various internal customers as needed.
  • Manage the forecasting and securing rooms for plan movements globally
  • Responsible for handling requests in hotel crew inbox and well as any assistance needing form the scheduling and travel team.
  • Work closely with the Lead and Regional Manager[s] and ships to ensure services completed.
  • Liaison between ships, vendor and shoreside Management team.

Financial Responsibilities

Responsible for reporting and communicating any budget impact caused by variances in contracts or travel peaks.

Assist in the control of costs associated with crew movement travel expenses, such as transportation, airport operations, port operations, hotel, visas, immigration process and other required travel documentation that affects the department budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Paralegal, International Relations or Maritime Law or directly related, equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience successfully negotiating terms and agreements in the best interest of the company

Working knowledge of computers, internet access
