Position Summary:

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking an Skillbridge Intern for a InfoSec Financial and Policy Analyst to support strategy development, financial planning, trend analysis, and policy creation.

The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker with excellent listening, analytical, and financial skills. They should also be able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language. This role involves creating and maintaining financial documentation, collecting and reporting data for security metrics, and supporting security governance across the company. Strong communication, creativity, networking, and leadership skills are essential for success in this position.

  • Assist the Deputy CISO in developing strategic materials.
  • Analyze business trends to support better decision-making.
  • Help manage the financial budget by verifying projections and analyzing budget changes.
  • Understand products and services to simplify complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Write clear and effective documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, finance teams, and leaders to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Create and maintain a knowledge base of financial processes.
  • Develop thorough documentation that aligns with company standards.

Eligibility:
  • Must meet DoD SkillBridge qualification requirements (DODI 1322.29)
  • Must have unit commander written authorization to participate prior to applying
  • Must participate through Hiring Our Heroes program
  • Career experience in Finance, Economics, Organizational Leadership, and/or Information Technology. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in technical writing, particularly with a focus on finance.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and technical writing tools like Confluence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adjust communication style based on audience size, level, and medium.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Expertise in Microsoft O365 applications.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of precision in numbers and communication.
  • Ability to work with technical experts and explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and dependable.
  • Basic understanding of information security concepts and terminology.
  • Familiarity with information security frameworks like NIST, ISO, and FISMA is a plus.
  • Knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations is a plus.
  • Proactive and driven with an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.
