Position Summary
The Sr Specialist, Entertainment Activities Casting & Recruitment position manages, develops and oversees the shipboard Entertainment casting and recruitment for all front of house Activities positions with an emphasis on the talent acquisition, casting strategy. Casting and recruiting oversight of 1,000+ staff with a direct report to assist with the casting and interview efforts.
The Sr Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Entertainment Activities team retention, training and development content of new candidates, while also implementing a more strategic casting and recruitment process for the entry level staff members within the department. In this position, they will develop and create the casting and recruitment strategies for all Entertainment Activities staff positions such as: Youth Staff, Youth Staff - Nursery, Youth Staff - Teen, Youth Staff - Theater performers, Sports Staff, Sports Staff - iFLY, Entertainment Activities Staff (Cruise Staff), Disc Jockey, Entertainment Activities Administrators (Cruise Program Administrators), Royal Party Squad, Family Activities Hosts and managers within the division when hired externally.
The Sr Specialist will work closely with the operational managers of these areas to understand the fleet sourcing and casting and recruitment needs and to curate specific position recruitments and hiring plans. The Sr Specialist will build a working relationship with the Entertainment Management team, Work Force Planning team, Program Management team, Talent Acquisition and HR recruitment team to ensure that qualified pre-screened candidates are cast, vetted and onboarded before passing along to the schedulers for placement.

Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
- 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-4 years recruiting experience desirable
- Strong knowledge of employment law required, HRCI certification desirable
- Shipboard Cruise Programs Division management experience desirable Travel required
- Training experience desirable Casting experience desirable Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer skills required knowledge of Microsoft office suite
Financial / Quantitative Responsibilities
Participates in development and operational oversight of annual recruiting budget (480 Employee Education).
