The Royal Caribbean Group's HR Operations Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, HR Portfolio Delivery reporting to the Director, HR Portfolio Delivery.

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direct leadership of the Director of HR Portfolio Delivery, the Senior Manager of HR Portfolio Delivery will play a vital role in key business projects for the Human Resources team. This role is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, programs and initiatives involving the HR department as well as cross-functional teams across the business unit and the enterprise. This individual will lead and spearhead the delivery of a project or initiative from the design process through a finished state to achieve agreed upon outcomes and complete implementation. The Senior Manager of HR Portfolio Delivery will serve as Project Manager and Business Analyst and will interface with all areas affected by the project or initiative, which may include HR Leadership team members, shared services, as well as other departments within the business and enterprise. Responsible for defining and gaining agreement on the project scope and objectives that will be measured. Oversees and coordinates all aspects of the project or initiative.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for critical HR projects that have an impact across the function, business unit and enterprise.
  • Manage matrix project teams, influence leaders and subject matter experts, monitor project plans, milestone achievement, and dependencies to achieve deliverables.
  • Communicate, track, and report on project status, critical issues, key dependencies, etc.
  • Drive integration and optimization of all component & dependent projects, processes & applications within the project/initiative
  • Utilize established criteria and tools to effectively and efficiently facilitate and report against program execution with measurable results
  • Facilitate effective collaboration of project contributors across HR and partner functions in order to deliver efficient and timely project delivery
  • Accountable for the successful execution of a complex program (typically consisting of multiple projects)
  • Integrate and manage the program timeline by identifying all project internal & external interdependencies
  • Interact with all levels of the organization: senior leaders within HR and partner functions, product owners, business analysts, technology architects, business system analysts, technical application leads, outside consultants, vendors and other key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization
  • Assists department Sr. Director with budgeting and management of expenses related to department activities

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

  • Highly strategic, proactive, and organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • 10+ years project management / business analysis experience, preferably within HR
  • Experience using AGILE, PMP, or Scrum methodology (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of portfolio management across a broad range of HR process areasand workflows including but not limited to: HCM, Case Management, Learning, Employee Engagement, Workforce Management, Recruiting, Sourcing, Compensation, and Reward
  • Ability to define and execute multiple detailed activity plans simultaneously
  • Skilled in customer facing activities covering requirements gathering, data preparation, timeline management, and documentation preparation
  • Ability to communicate and work collaboratively within a team and have strong influencing skills
  • Ability to coach and advise senior stakeholders
  • Ability to conduct and facilitate workshops with business representatives, management and executives, team member resources, and external third-party groups
  • Ability to manage ambiguity with demonstrated confidence & credibility
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills
  • Experience working with contemporary HR Technology platforms is strongly preferred (e.g., Success Factors, Salesforce etc.)
