This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

The Creative Sr Manager will lead the creative services copywriting team to represent the global brand across external communication channels, ensuring the tone, voice and essence of marketing and sales materials align to the meet the business objectives of the organization. The Creative Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of high-level creative concepts; managing relationships with internal clients and external agencies to better understand needs and challenges; and providing messaging direction and support to all company communications teams (Web, Sales, Marketing, Hotel Operations, Human Resources, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Creative Director ensuring brand standards are delivered across all creative assets and deliverables across the marketing funnel.
  • Provides leadership and plays a key role in the development of the creative strategy and vision.
  • Devise new and evolving global creative programs, core messaging, that meet the business objectives of the organization.
  • Direct a team of internal and external copywriters on creative projects from concept to completion ensuring proofing is also included in the overall cadence.
  • Establish creative direction for all projects and ensure consistent implementation across channels.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice across all creative materials and channels.
  • Drive brand evolution through ongoing development and implementation of brand guidelines.
  • Manage internal client relationships to better understand needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with external agency teams to ensure creative work aligns with business objectives, as well as brand look, tone and other mandatories.
  • Concept and/or approve all content types outside of copy deliverables ensuring brand consistency and standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and marketing best practices.
  • Provide weekly reporting and status updates to supervisor and executives when applicable.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, and/or related field experience.
  • 8-10+ years' experience in advertising, marketing, copywriting, and/or related field
  • 3-5+ years' experience managing/directing creative teams

Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Excellent copywriting, design direction, editing, proofreading, and project coordination skills,
  • Meticulous attention to detail; clear and concise communication, commitment to producing high-quality product; deadline conscious.
  • Copywriting, print, non-traditional, and/or online media experience.
  • Software experience in Mac and Windows applications including Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft Office.
  • At least 2 years management experience with large-scale print, online, guerrilla, e-marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, creative writing, typography and limitations of the web; Must have ability to storyboard and/or translate ideas to designers and develop graphic solutions.
  • A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, and creative process.
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to completion. Apply best practices.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Global outlook.
  • Positive approach to problem solving through analytical thinking and operational efficacy.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Strong critical decision-making and excellent communication skills.
  • Cross-functional leadership expertise in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Self-starter with ability to maintain poise when dealing with ambiguity.
  • Experience creating and managing detailed timelines.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite Products.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:
  • The position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as computers, printers and telephones.
  • Requires flexibility to work occasional overtime, evening hours and weekends.
  • Works in a typical office environment with moderate noise generated by telephone conversations, computer, printer, copier and light traffic.
