The Royal Caribbean Group's Silversea Cruises has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sales Account Executive reporting to the Inside Sales Senior Manager.

Position is onsite and based in Miami, FL

Position Summary:

Silversea Cruises, a world leader in luxury classic and expedition cruising, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive to join our Sales team. The Account Executive will support Area Sales Directors and manage relationships with travel agencies to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury travel, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales. The Account Executive will work within a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and Sales Leadership on strategic territory approach and goal setting/achievement. The candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and driven mindset, always striving to exceed expectations and contribute to the team's success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Support Administration:
  • Support ASDs and travel partners in achieving company and team objectives.
  • Handle, escalations, and troubleshoot to support the Inside Sales inbox in a timely manner.
  • Assist with trade calls and support trade webinars with virtual Q&A sessions.
  • Point of contact to manage and book Travel Agent Reduced Rates, FAM Trips and Cruise Certificates.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Account Management & Sales Revenue Growth:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to existing accounts by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Drive sales revenue by developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed targets within your assigned territory or accounts.
  • Make routine outbound sales calls to key travel partners to strengthen relationships and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Attend weekly/biweekly strategic meetings with supporting ASDs for sales alignment.
  • Promote Silversea's luxury cruise offerings and ensure travel advisors are equipped to sell effectively.
  • Conduct sales presentations and training seminars to promote the brand, specific ships, programs, and destinations.
  • Be a point of contact to promote Silversea's luxury cruise offerings and ensure travel advisors are equipped with the knowledge to effectively sell.
  • Achieve sales targets for assigned accounts, including revenue growth, volume growth, and product-specific targets.
  • Attend sales events and trade shows as needed in various territories (travel required)

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the travel, cruise, or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Travel industry background preferred.
  • Must be assertive, self-motivated, self-disciplined and a self-starter.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational/presentation skills.
  • Proven outside sales experience required.
  • Must be able to occasionally travel.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to work remotely, if applicable.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use advanced business and sales knowledge to make decisions, use sound judgment, negotiate effectively, and deliver results.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to use multiple communication and interaction methods to collaborate effectively, get results with others and develop customer champions.
  • Ability to display the highest level of personal integrity, take responsibility for personal and organizational results, and proactively develop greater ability.
  • Must be proficient in communication skills including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint and CRM systems.
