The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Revenue Operations reporting to the Director, Revenue Management.

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida

Position Summary:

The manager will play an essential role to the Revenue Operations team to explore cost savings and new revenue generating opportunities, review existing processes for automation or improvement and is integral in developing brand policies. The manager will be responsible for pulling data, suggesting change and driving it forward within revenue management and with our business partners. This person will be overseeing a team of 10 highly motivated individuals, instrumental in their growth within Revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to drive and improve revenue through new and existing initiatives
  • Work with management to identify and develop initiatives including Good Will, Special Faring and Option Code best practices for the organization
  • Responsible for developing strategies and efficiencies to then present to Management
  • Once there is agreement on the strategy, the Manager will be responsible for developing an implementation plan and working with the product teams to execute and as needed, working with Hotel Ops, IT, Sales and International teams to drive change forward
  • Own the development of strategies to achieve revenue targets in excess of $2B in annual net ticket revenue
  • Accountable for developing an implementation plan, executing and create reporting to monitor success of such strategies while being able to identify shortfalls and adjust strategy accordingly in a timely manner
  • Develops analysis and creates actionable plans to drive change forward
  • This individual is responsible for the development and communication of process improvement and reporting on success
  • Collaborate with various Revenue Management teams on processes that could be automated.
  • Collaborate with the promotions team for areas of opportunity
  • Assist in brand audits
  • Lead a team of 10 reports to coach, mentor and develop best practices and collaboration within in the team
  • Ensure cross team collaboration mindset is instituted and followed through with timelines and goals

Financial Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing strategies to achieve revenue targets in excess of $2B in annual net ticket revenue
  • Responsible for leading initiatives maximizing other ancillary revenues

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university required with focus in quantitative discipline preferred
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or master's degree (MA) strongly preferred
  • Four to six years related experience in financial / business analysis or related field required
  • Familiarization with revenue management concepts and tools preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret revenue performance data
  • Ability to structure logically quantitative analysis of complex issues
  • Ability to operate in cross functional environment
  • Ability to manage, coach and develop direct reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to work independently and use proper judgment
  • Willingness to accept immediate product and project responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentations skills
  • Ability to work in global environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail is absolutely required
  • Competency of computer systems and applications is essential, with an emphasis on the ability to access and manipulate data from a variety of sources
  • Strong SQL, Excel, Power point and Hyperion and basic Colonial/AS400 is required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once and operate in a team environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Revenue Management and micro-economics is preferred
