The Marketing Coordinator functions as an integral part of the Australian Marketing team and is responsible for supporting major brand projects, campaign management, brand/product/retail updates, agency support and coordination of broader marketing team tasks that contribute to the brand's goals. This role's key objective is to assist in the delivery of Marketing campaigns and special projects in addition to providing administrative support to the Marketing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Snr Manager, Brand Planning & Media with brand planning requirements for special brand projects including go to market assets, stakeholder management and events.
- Brand campaign support across a variety of assets as required including:
- Digital (web, display, edm, social)
- Print (magazines, press, collateral)
- Copy writing
- Contribute to WIPs with Creative and Media agencies, providing project status updates and facilitating actions as required.
- Assist in updating the overarching Brand Calendar.
- Marketing team admin such as setting up of team meetings, coordinating room bookings and requirements, diary management, WIP document management and meeting minutes.
- Support the Snr Director, Marketing with diary management including set up of meetings with external parties and processing expenses.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders including the Sales, Revenue and Finance departments.
- Event management support for brand-led events.
- Briefing the in-house Graphic Design team on campaign assets including key messaging, specifications and deadlines.
- Be a brand custodian for Royal Caribbean International and provide brand guideline guidance to other team members and departments as required.
- Be responsible for the regular stocktake and distribution management of brand merchandise.
- Assist with the planning and facilitation of ship visits during key summer season.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience.
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, digital and/or tourism desirable.
- Marketing experience in a media/brand role or equivalent preferred but not essential.
- strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong PC skills are required.
