Position Summary
Overall
- Develops, implements, and monitors yearly KPI's, long-term strategies and goals to maintain program standards and implement best practices.
- Applies analytical techniques to drive business improvements and minimize revenue loss for the brand.
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives, defines processes, tracks and reports all data required to make recommendations through program implementation.
- Studies operational needs and current operational performance to determine optimal working procedures and systems, and to identify areas for improvement on new generation vessels
- Continues to reestablish goals and adjust work processes based on shifting priorities, new information, and changing expectations.
Newbuild & Modernization Programs
- Define the hotel operations activities and ensures key individuals participation and collaboration is upheld
- Ensure hotel & marine owner supplies ordering are on track
- Develop and manage key milestones by tracking program progress against milestone plan, building simulations, and detailed schedules
- Drives the hotel operations program milestones to completion through issue identification, analysis, and multi-departmental communication.
ECC Program
- Gatekeeper for the extra crew cabins (ECC's) and sponsor of the ECC application for the Royal brand.
- Protect the integrity & existing fleet ECC inventory from dilution
- Establishes the ECC yearly plan and ensures the brand is staying on target
- Determines key corporate needs and establishes a prioritization model that best supports the brand requirements
- Manages the ECC consumption and oversees the ECC revenue loss approval program; planning and negotiating ECC inventory with partners across company to minimize revenue loss
PAR Level & Crew Berthing Program
- Manages the validation of all shipboard par level change requests and their potential impact onto our financial performance & crew berthing inventory
- Maintain the integrity of Data and ensure the existing approval process is upheld, by providing direction as to what needs to be approved
- Ensure all shoreside sponsors plan and submit par changes required in a timely manner, Q4 for the following year, often market / deployment driven.
- Manage the crew berthing inventory and the validation/approval of crew cabin and ECC cabin allocation to ensure alignment with approved Par level
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. 5 or more years of related work experience within a large corporation or consulting firm.
- Familiarity with project management and systems management.
Knowledge and Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with little to no guidance; the requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Intermediate level Excel Macros, Essbase, Hyperion, AMOS, JDE, Microsoft Project.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, as well as a basic understanding of systems and financial documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from other departments of from customers. Ability to effectively present information to top management.
- Ability to facilitate groups of stakeholders to arrive at conclusions and recommendations
Physical Demands
While performing job functions the employee is regularly required to sit, and stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a pc, communicate, listen, and assess information. The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations and may lift, push, pull or move 25-35 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to walk to the dock, ascend and descend the vessel. This position may regularly travel domestically or internationally. Visual requirements include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions

The environment includes office location, and /or moving inside/outside the office. Responsibilities include traveling between numerous offices. A high noise level is possible if visiting shipboard or offsite locations.
