The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Invoicing Supervisor reporting to the Director, Destination Management Finance, Analytics, Contracting and Compliance.

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida

This position is responsible for supporting and managing the invoice processing for Destination Management. This includes processing and auditing purchase orders, managing two invoice specialists, improving processes, policy adherence, operator support, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and owning month end.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Own and manage the daily invoicing functions of the Destinations department.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Destination Management invoices.
  • Ensure timely receipt and processing of invoices and payments. Receive, audit, code and process operator invoices. Ensure compliance with company policies and SOX requirements.
  • Conduct weekly audit of processed purchase orders to ensure proper classification and identify missing payments.
  • Lead the month end close process, prepare and review monthly accruals ensuring deadlines are met and financials are complete and accurate.
  • Analyze current processes and propose, develop and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Supervise two specialists and provide ongoing feedback and mentoring.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with internal teams and operators.
  • Implement a continuous improvement mindset within the team.
  • Other duties and ad-hoc projects

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 3 years in an invoice processing management role.
  • At least 5 years of invoice processing experience and with month end accruals.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to tactfully deal with internal and external contacts.
  • Action oriented, solution driven and able to work in a fast paced, large volume environment. Have a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of Navision and cruise line experience a plus.

The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations and may lift, push, pull or move 10-15 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to walk to the dock, ascend and descend the vessel.
