The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Inbound Sales Rep for Celebrity Cruises reporting to the Director of Market Sales Canada.

The Inbound Sales Rep is responsible for the profitable revenue generation from assigned retail travel agency accounts producing up to $300,000 in current annual revenue with Celebrity Cruises to meet or exceed corporate goals. Responsible to partner with assigned retail travel agencies to assist in the preparation of business and marketing plans both at the overall agency level and individual booking level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • In a Tele-Sales environment, manages a territory of assigned accounts with responsibility to build agencies revenues with Celebrity Cruises
  • Builds and maintains relationships with decision-makers and front-line travel partners at current individual accounts within assigned territory
  • Makes outbound sales calls to identify/qualify opportunities as well as fielding incoming inquiries from assigned account base.
  • Creates awareness and educates accounts on the Celebrity Cruises brand, its products, services and offers using the most effective, sales tools, services, and programs.
  • Partnering with decision makers in assigned agency, creates marketing campaigns and plans to promote the sales of Celebrity Cruises products.
  • Analyzes sales data in order to present annual business reviews to top tier accounts
  • Responsible to grow assigned accounts annual business to a level that graduates those accounts to Field Sales representation.
  • Facilitate ship tours, cruise nights, trade shows and other direct consumer and trade facing events as required
  • Works with District Sales Managers and Key Account Managers within territory to effectively penetrate agency HQ/Branch relationships.
  • Develops content with a keen understanding of audience and messaging in French.
  • Responsible for updating French trade facing website (thecelebritycommitment.com) on a continuous basis
  • Adapts materials for multiple uses including written, video, and infographic versions of promotions for trade partners, as well as consumers in French.
  • Verifies/ edits translations for the brand, including legal terms and conditions.
  • Develops travel agent training such as presentations, webinars, as well as the Travel Partner on-line training program in French.
  • Responsible for updating all communications and promotions on a monthly basis via Quick Press, a travel agent resource in Quebec.

Financial Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding corporate growth goals with assigned retail accounts producing up to $100,000 in annual Celebrity Cruises revenue in a tele-sales environment.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • 1-3 years sales experience including cold calling and developing an account base preferred.
  • Some college strongly preferred, college degree a plus.
  • Travel industry knowledge preferred
  • Bilingual - English and French required
