The Royal Caribbean Group's Royal Caribbean International brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Financial Analyst reporting to the Senior Director of Business Planning & Analysis.
This position works on-site in Miami, Florida
Position Summary:
This is a financial analyst position in RCI Finance. The analyst will support the shoreside management teams in effectively managing their budgets. This person must coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize relevant information to create budgets and forecasts. The analyst maintains continuous contact with operating groups and keeps current on business developments and data trends and incorporates any changes into the forecast.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly forecasts and annual budgets for specific expense accounts.
- Analyzes month-end variances and submits explanations to accounting.
- Prepares month-end journal entries, including re-classes, accruals and prepaid entries.
- Develops and maintains monthly reports for operating teams and shipboard management teams.
- The budget for various shoreside department expenses is approximately $1.5B - $2.B and/or OBR of $1.5B. The analyst's objective is to end the year within 2% of target.
- Performs ad-hoc analysis and presentations as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Two to four years of financial experience including a strong background in business/financial planning & analysis skills.
- Master's degree in Business / Finance preferred
- Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and computer modeling skills.
- Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy in analysis.
- Must have strong command of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
- Prior experience with Essbase a plus.
- Must be able to work independently
