Celebrity Cruises is looking for a Destination Product & Experiences Manager, APAC to join their local team in Sydney!

About the role:

The Destination Product & Experience Manager is responsible for the delivery & execution of the brand's product and guest experience of Destination Experiences by Celebrity Cruises in Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific and Asia.

This role is responsible for the elevated guest experience in destination through the successful operations of all experiences offered in each port of call in the APAC region. This includes recommended tours and experiences, outlining guest journey maps, developing relationships with the local tour operators, regional tourism boards and tracking guest satisfaction and revenue results. Additionally, supporting the operations of the turnaround ports which may include transfers and pre & post packages offered by the Cruise Line.

This role will initially be focused on Australia, NZ & the South Pacific as a core priority.

Reporting to the Miami Headquarter office as part of the larger Destination Experiences global operations team, but also working closely with the leadership of Celebrity Cruises APAC office in Sydney. You will be the primary contact for all local tour operators who are contracted to work with Celebrity Cruises in Australia & New Zealand and Asia and any appointed global businesses working with Celebrity Cruise to deliver destination experiences.

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent. Master's degree or higher would-be a plus.
  • 2 to 3 years or more in a position that required high level of project management and operational management is a plus.
  • 2 years or more of experience in cruise or travel industry, tour operator related business, or experience in destination product development or operations. Longer tenure with this type of experience would be a plus.
  • Strong existing knowledge of destination and destination experiences available in New Zealand, Australia and Asia, ideally gained through product management experience is preferred.
  • Previous shipboard experience or experience working closely with shipboard leadership is helpful
  • Proven track record of success in fast-paced environment with demanding timelines.
  • Ideal candidate also has experience with hotel and air industries.
  • Strong geographical knowledge and extensive travel experience a plus.
  • Experience in working within high-performing operational team.
  • Experience in a project management.
  • Ability to travel. Higher amount of travel during the season of cruising in Australia and New Zealand and Asia.
