This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

A Business Development Administration Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the BDS Lead and Manager with a variety of initiatives within the Royal Caribbean Sales organization. This includes, but is not limited to, Ship tour and FVR functions for BDM/BDS, processing Trade Show invoices and Co-op. This position will also be responsible for department reporting, SalesForce.com email campaigns and all other duties as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the successful processing of all ship tour events from invitation to FVR finalization. Maintains the ship tour special events calendar on Navigate to ensure that we meet current visitor attendance/quota guidelines. Request additional ship tour support as needed.
  • Works in collaboration with the Co-op Lead ensuring tradeshow invoices are processed and paid within the appropriate timeframe for the needs of the business. Handles escalations as required.
  • Works with BDS and the Co-op Lead to ensure Co-op marketing expenses are submitted timely and in accordance with established coop guidelines.
  • Runs regular reporting, such as weekly BDS calls, CYOS, territory revenue and product reporting as needed by the team.
  • Supports daily assignment coverage in collaboration with the Lead and Manager of BDS. Effectively communicates assignments on a daily basis as the business requires.
  • Handles all SalesForce Budget Account Maintenance and Funds Transfers as requested by leadership.
  • Supports BDS with national email campaign distributions as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Experience and Education: 1-3 years experience in a related field; Associate or Bachelor a plus.
  • Travel industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Travel is required for yearly Regional Training Summit (RTS) and National Sales Meeting (NSM).
  • Other opportunities include trade related events such as ship tours, FAM training functions, and Seminars at Sea etc.
  • Position is based in Miami, FL at Royal Caribbean headquarters
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skillset in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid organization and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • The ability to work successfully as a team and independently
  • Computer knowledge and usage skills, with the aptitude to learn new technology.
