Roblox is looking for a Senior Compliance Program Manager with broad compliance and operational subject matter expertise to help build the program from the ground up. You will build, operationalize, and scale Roblox’s compliance practices and verticals, including policies, issue management, risk management, assurance, and governance & reporting. You will partner with the legal, business, and product teams to develop insights and drive improvements on how we incorporate compliance and safety-by-design into product life cycles. This is a full-time, hybrid position reporting to the Head of Compliance.
You Will:
- Provide guidance and second-line-of-defense oversight to establish, measure, and improve safety, privacy, and security practices
- Drive the execution of compliance strategic initiatives across Roblox
- Build scalable, low-friction compliance processes and systems that enable Roblox to mitigate risks and protect its users
- Work with first-line teams on risk identification, prioritization, remediation, and documentation
- Scope projects and initiatives that move our key objectives forward
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs and communications to a broad range of partners
- Support regulatory compliance efforts, including controls testing, risk assessments, oversight and governance, control certifications, assurance, control design, continuous monitoring, issue management, and risk remediation
- Build governance forums for key regulatory decisions and reporting processes
- Develop compliance metrics and automated dashboards
- Work with team members across multiple time zones
You Have:
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, regulatory operations, risk management, or other operational fields in a global technology company
- 3+ years working in a highly regulated domain such as integrity, online safety, privacy, or security
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in project and program management, including problem solving, time management, organization, critical issue management and metrics development
- Experience developing objectives and key results for new function
- Proven experience working on cross-functional initiatives and regulatory issues
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience operationalizing and designing compliance workflows, working with different case management systems
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with urgency
- Experience in process design and improvement in end-to-end product lifecycle
- Relevant certification (e.g., CCEP, CISSP, CRCM) is helpful

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
