We looking for a Software Developer to join Robinhood & support the growth of the TradePMR team - Robinhood's newest acquisition group working on Enterprise B2B applications for financial advisors, working directly with end clients. The ideal team member is collaborative & strategically curious with experience operating cross functionally across an organization.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a group of engineers in a full stack capacity while particularly focusing on Backend initiatives - leaning into designing, developing, and delivering the newest software applications.

What you’ll do

  • Experience and exposure in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs.
  • Analyze requirements, asses the risk, collaborate with stakeholders and leads to produce thoughtful software design
  • Own the delivery of an entire feature set and serve as a technical lead on complex projects
  • Experience with technical assessment, scope and manage changes to the code based on new business requirements, product enhancements, and other change requests
  • Maintain architectural principals and coding standards across the code and project lifecycles
  • Diagnose and resolve production application issue
  • Add to input to generate new opportunities to improve the current technology stack by developing ideas and solutions with new emerging technologies
  • Ensure end to end system is tested, using unit or integration testing frameworks where appropriate

What you bring

  • Hands-on ability to write clean, secure, reliable, maintainable and testable code with a robust design and building effect data models
  • 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, delivering, and leading enterprise web and desktop applications using Microsoft Technologies at scale
  • Knowledge and experience in the design and development of relational databases
  • Knowledge in implementations of microservices and service-oriented architecture
  • Exposure with the architecture and development of business solutions and acting as a strategic contributor to cloud solutions
  • Technology Stack: .Net Core, Asp.Net, WebApi, MVC, WPF, MVVM, C#, ReactJS, NodeJS, Entity Framework, Dapper, AWS, Git, Jira, Jenkin
  • Databases: MS SQL Server, NoSQ
  • Flexibility to be in our New York City or Clearwater, Florida office 3 days a week

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
