Riskified APAC is looking for an excellent Business Development Manager with experience in B2B sales hunting to join the largest chargeback liability shift fraud prevention platform globally. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and lead management. You’ll create interest for Riskified at key accounts by demonstrating our solution's value. This position will have a direct impact on our success by expanding the Riskified customer base.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the early stage of the value-based sales opportunities that are well-positioned to become clients
- Create and execute a prospecting plan through research, calling, email, leveraging personal networks and following up on marketing-generated leads
- Identify prospects’ key questions and pain points and multi-thread within large enterprises. Lead management is done by the BD rep (unlike other companies) until the leads mature.
- Consistent use of proven sales approaches and techniques developed internally at Riskified combined with working with your existing industry network to generate leads
- Continuously improve and research the existing business development process to improve conversion
- Represent Riskified at industry events around Greater China
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Integration engineers to move big deals forward.
- Reporting to the Director of Business Development, based in Singapore
Qualifications
- 10 years of professional B2B tech sales/BD experience
- An excellent English speaker and a native Mandarin speaker- Good command of verbal and written communication skills, Analytical skills
- Growth oriented hunter, highly motivated to crush targets
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with peers.
- Must be able to interact, multithread and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, this is not an SDR role. You take the lead.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment with minimum supervision in a consultative selling style
