As the Senior Talent Management Program Manager, you will drive innovative and agile solutions to enhance Riot’s talent management programs and processes aligned with Riot’s mission, vision, and strategic goals. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Talent Management, you will utilize your expertise in managing and executing on talent programs and processes to deliver a suite of global solutions Riot wide. These include but are not limited to goal setting, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and feedback tools, among other opportunities for impact. This individual contributor role will coordinate complex workstreams across teams and stakeholders, and take a lead role in delivering core Talent People Processes. This role offers a highly collaborative, high-visibility opportunity to contribute to strategic, impactful talent initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities:


Program Design and Delivery

  • Execute global talent management programs, including goal setting, feedback, performance reviews, talent reviews/succession planning, promotion cycles and other initiatives.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of program design and execution based on metrics, feedback, organizational needs, and user experience.
  • Support program strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Riot’s goals and values. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor, responding to inquiries and requests for assistance from stakeholders.


Process Management 

  • Plan and execute against project plans and operations for talent programs, collaborating with stakeholders such as HRBPs, People Systems, and other People Team members.
  • Partner with the People Systems team to ensure talent tools and systems are optimized, configured, and ready for use. 
  • Manage data flow and analytics related to talent programs and outcomes, ensuring data integrity and appropriate security around sensitive information.
  • Ensure consistent program delivery across regions by collaborating with regional stakeholders.

Communication and Change Management

  • Support program communication and change management across Riot stakeholders, including employees, managers, HRBPs, and leaders.
  • Maintain dashboards, prepare reports, and distill actionable insights on program outcomes with key stakeholders, enabling better decision-making for individuals, teams, and Riot as a whole.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders, HRBPs, and cross-functional partners to ensure effective delivery of solutions.
  • Partner with L&D and Internal Communications to develop and refresh training materials and resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years in HR with at least 2 years focused on talent management or leadership development programs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Strong knowledge of talent management processes, including performance management, promotions, talent review, and succession planning. Broad knowledge of other HR disciplines is helpful.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics and tools such as MS Excel/Google Sheets; ability to maintain data integrity and leverage insights for decision-making.
  • Project & Task Management: Demonstrated ability to scope, lead, and deliver complex projects. Ability to prioritize and focus on mission-critical tasks among competing business requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Critical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying issues and removing barriers. Appropriate balance of subject matter expertise and pragmatism of how to apply theory in a fast-paced business environment
  • Interpersonal Skills: High integrity, discretion, and executive presence; ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the theory, application, and best practice methods across key HR domains, including performance management, career/leadership development, assessments, and compensation, and how they collectively influence organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience implementing HR Programs in fast-paced global organizations, particularly in creative, technology, or gaming industries.
  • Familiarity with Workday functionality.
