The E-Commerce Applications Developer performs web design and development work, including web design, deployment, maintenance, research, conceptualization, development, code validation and planning in order to produce accessible B2B and B2C web projects.

This position will serve our Replacement Parts Division, located in Randleman, North Carolina. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to come into the office roughly 3 days/week. You must reside in a commutable distance to our Randleman office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Design, Develop, maintain e-commerce websites, ensuring a user-friendly and responsive experience.
• Select, integrate, and maintain the appropriate technologies and platforms for e-commerce websites and Content Management systems like Oracle Commerce Cloud, Salsify etc.
• Continuously monitor and improve the website's speed, load times, and overall performance to enhance the user experience.
• Integrate third-party APIs to streamline e-commerce operations.
• Conduct thorough testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to identify and resolve bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and marketing professionals, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and technical specifications to ensure knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
• Mentoring junior developers, providing guidance, and support to foster their professional development.
• Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and adherence to established coding standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce development to identify opportunities for innovations and enhancements.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for e-commerce related issues, both internally and for customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
WHAT YOU NEED
• Bachelor's Degree required in Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce project management, database maintenance or administration.
• Proven experience in e-commerce website development, with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Node JS, JavaScript, React JS, Knockout JS, C#, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Oracle Commerce Cloud, Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.), and content management systems (Salsify).
• Experience with Database Management (SQL) and server-side scripting.
• Understanding of security best practices, compliance, and data protection.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communications and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
