The National Sales Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of activities associated with and in support of the revenue, margin, share, and volume with MRO, buy groups, and other large national customers and manufacturer's representatives.

This position will serve our National Accounts team and will be 100% remote but will require flexibility across US time zones.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Develop, manage, and execute Commercial Business Plan for assigned accounts. This includes defining specific sales goals (revenue, margin, volume, market share) and prioritizing and identifying strategic opportunities.
• Forecast, implement, analyze, and attain sales goals or performance. Identify opportunities and threats to maintain and improve on sales forecast for assigned accounts
• Develop high level programming to achieve growth targets for regional teams to execute
• Assist with and execute new product launches with customers and manufacturer's representatives.
• Identify growth opportunities through current or potential customers utilizing data and insights
• Formally, report progress against business plans on a regular basis. Provide information as necessary to support quarterly reviews for the commercial business team and customers
• Directly responsible for planning, implementation, and execution of all commercial activities at assigned accounts and sales representatives.
• Communicate commercial water heating related policies, strategies, and objectives as required to customers and channel partners.

Qualifications:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

• Minimum of 7 years of experience and proven track record in direct selling success and negotiation for large, national customers (MRO and wholesale experience preferable) along with experience in working with manufacturer's representatives

• Strong financial acumen in analyzing revenue, margin, profit

• Demonstrate Strategic selling skills to develop customer growth/expansion plans

• Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently

• Exceptional skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including manipulating and analyzing data

• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

• Strong presentation skills (Ability to effectively develop and present to management professionals)

• Demonstrate the ability to work well with others in a team environment

HOW TO STAND OUT:

• Master's in business or other technical field

• Continuous Improvement mindset and prior/proven experience

• Technical skills related to commercial water heating
