Job Description

A Renaissance Professional Learning Consultant will facilitate high quality professional learning to ensure customers feel confident in taking next steps with their Renaissance solutions and assessments to drive student success. The Specialist will be focused on delivering services to promote best practices with Renaissance solutions. A successful candidate has experience with Renaissance solutions, has used data to advise instruction and is an experienced facilitator of professional learning, who understands how to work with educational partners at the school, district, and state level. The successful candidate facilitates remote and onsite assignments throughout the year. Additionally, individual specialists are encouraged to grow professionally by participating in learning opportunities that strengthen knowledge, skills, and expertise.

Expectations and Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain expertise on key concepts for Renaissance solutions
  • Provide high quality on-site and remote professional learning for new and current users
  • Confidence to guide educators in using data to accelerate student learning
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Understand customers unique context and deliver professional learning to meet their needs
  • Engage in internal professional learning such as: being observed, receiving feedback, and being coached in order to support you in consistently delivering excellent professional learning
  • Serve as a leader for special projects, including internal cohorts
  • Understand the correlation between Renaissance solutions and state or district requirements
  • Tracking and completing follow-ups related to session logistics in a timely manner
  • Shown time management skills when handling multiple tasks
  • Comfortable with navigating ambiguous situations and responding confidently to in-the-moment challenges or concerns in order to meet customer needs
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Build positive relationships with both internal teams and customer collaborators to understand learning needs
  • Ability to guide conversations and pivot based on customer needs
  • Adhere to company guidelines related to confidentiality, privacy, and security


Qualifications

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience facilitating/delivering professional development, prior experience in K-12 education preferred
  • Superb consultative, facilitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service and relationship building at all levels within the school system
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and Nearpod
  • Excellent digital literacy, including knowledge of presentation tools and online meeting programs
  • Ability to learn and apply new tools and technologies quickly
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles and experience applying them when delivering learning experiences to adults
  • Understanding of assessment platforms and experience using tools to differentiate instruction
  • Ability to travel up to 75% during peak seasons
  • Present a professional image to customers at all times virtually and onsite
  • Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to handle tasks of high complexity.

Applicants with the following skills will be strongly considered

  • Successfully implementing Renaissance Solutions (Freckle, myON, Star 360, Accelerated Reader, myIGDI's, Fastbridge, DnA, eduCLIMBER, Renaissance Analytics, Renaissance Fundamentals, or Nearpod)
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Background knowledge in Foundational Literacy, Science of Reading, MTSS, Dual Language Programming, Social and Emotional Behavioral Assessments, and Data Analysis

Salary Range: $51,100 - $70,300

This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
