As our Senior QA Engineer, you'll be embedded within a functional product team elevating the quality of every release to our users, while also improving the overall quality automation platforms, systems, and tools across all teams at Relay.

- Work within a functional product delivery team to elevate the quality of every release
- Provide mentorship and leadership across all of engineering within the test automation domain, acting as a test automation SME
- Drive the creation and execution of a holistic quality engineering roadmap, including adoption of new tooling, frameworks, processes or practices
- Partner with quality engineers across all teams to ensure a consistent and scalable approach to test automation
- Create/review/execute test plans for testing of new projects across web and mobile applications
- Explore and experiment with exploratory testing in domains such as load testing
- Adapt development processes and tools to improve end-to-end test coverage visibility and highlight areas for investment
- Success in this role is elevating our test platforms, systems and tools to improve test coverage driving higher quality and faster releases as well as reducing resolution time of failures as we make the tests more robust
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years building test automation platforms, systems, tools and test cases driving high quality and fast releases
- You have built out platforms and systems to drive automated testing for product delivery
- You have worked as part of a product delivery team, working closely with product managers and developers to delivery high quality releases
- You have evaluated and deployed a new tool or platform to improve automated testing
- You are data driven, you know what metrics to track to highlight progress and determine where to further invest
Bonus Points
- You’re skilled with writing automation tests with Typescript and Cypress
- You’re familiar working with products built with Node.js and React
- You have experience with testing mobile applications
- You have experience working with AWS
- You have experience working in a fintech startup

The Interview Process
- Stage 1: A 30-minute Google Meets video call with a member of our Talent team
- Stage 2: A 1 hour Google Meets video call with the two members of the engineering team, including the hiring manager
- Stage 3: A case study take-home with a 1 hour review and feedback session with 2 members of the team
- Stage 4: A 30-minute Google Meets video call with a member of our leadership team
