The ideal candidate is comfortable managing metrics, analysis, and financials for multiple business units in a high-growth, dynamic and fast-paced environment. You know what it means to be agile and understand the importance of flexibility in your approach. You enjoy helping your business partners find the optimal solution and can apply your highly tuned decision-making skills to assess and make the right tradeoffs. You are intellectually curious, take pride in being detail-oriented while understanding the big picture, and have strong financial modeling and planning experience. You will be part of the greater Finance department and will have the opportunity to grow and develop the FP&A team, and you will develop cross-functional relationships with executive staff across all functions of the organization.

Position Overview:
The Director of Corporate FP&A will lead the company's financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maximizing financial performance. This role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and resource allocation while providing key insights for decision-making. The Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership, manage a team of FP&A professionals, and ensure the efficient allocation of resources to drive long-term profitability and growth.

What you will do:

● Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the development of the annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with various departments.
- Analyze historical performance, market trends, and model different scenarios to project future financial outcomes.
- Ensure that budgeting and forecasting processes are robust and aligned with strategic objectives

● Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports.

- Conduct detailed variance analysis to compare actual results against budget and forecast, providing insights into performance trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure profitability, revenue growth, cost efficiency, headcount ratios, and ROI.

● Strategic Planning Support:
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives, and perform scenario analysis to help decision-makers understand risks and opportunities.

● Resource Allocation & Performance Measurement:
- Collaborate with senior management to evaluate investment proposals and prioritize projects based on financial viability and alignment with strategic goals.
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure maximum financial returns, while supporting growth objectives.

● Financial Modeling & Risk Management:
- Build and maintain financial models to assess various scenarios such as capital investments and changes in market conditions.
- Use financial models to forecast future cash flows, assess risk, and evaluate potential returns on investments.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks by developing risk management strategies and contingency plans to safeguard financial stability.

● Stakeholder Communication:
- Present financial analysis and insights to senior leadership, board members, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare executive summaries and deliver presentations to facilitate informed decision-making.

● Process Improvement:
- Continuously improve FP&A processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Implement new technologies, streamline workflows, and enhance data analytics capabilities to support advanced financial planning.

● Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts, ensuring accountability for their respective areas.
- Set clear goals and expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional growth through coaching and development initiatives.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the FP&A team.

What you will bring:
● Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
● 10+ years of experience in FP&A, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
● Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
● Proficiency in financial planning tools and systems (e.g., Hyperion, SAP).

● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
● Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence senior leadership.
● Experience in resource allocation, investment analysis, and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in high-growth, fast-paced corporate environments.
● Prior experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets.
