Summary:
We're seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Analysis in our San Mateo, CA office.
This role sits on the Finance/Accounting team and will work on various financial tasks related to revenue and margin. The ideal candidate must have excellent analytical skills, be intellectually curious, and have a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze revenue and margin performance of our operating divisions to support the preparation of accurate financial statements, including domestic and international business units.
- Assist with developing key estimates on the financial statements, including the return reserve and amounts owed to members or other partners.
- Help review month-end revenue accounting close process and results.
- Analyze operational revenue and COGS transactional data flow from a financial perspective, identifying anomalies and partnering cross-functionally to drive resolution of issues. Requires proficiency with large volumes of small transactions, and the ability to assess the impact of issues to other operational processes and to the financial statements.
- Assist with preparing monthly financial presentations to leadership recapping performance and key drivers of change in the business.
- Participate in systems projects to improve team's ability to review revenue, COGS and margin.
- Assist in the preparation of analyses as needed for financial statement and Sarbanes-Oxley audits.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

- BA degree in accounting or finance. Understanding of basic revenue accounting concepts.
- Minimum 3+ years FP&A, operational finance, accounting, or data analysis experience in a public company.
- This position requires heavy use of Excel and Tableau, SQL experience a plus
- Experience with large ERP system; Oracle is preferred
- Familiarity with Affiliate Networks is a plus
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and possess good time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- A mindset of continuous improvement

Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location.
